Tattenhall

At the start of each year our Year 4 children take part in a 3 day residential visit to Tattenhall. This provides the children with the opportunity to spend time with their friends away from home for a short period while devleoping both their teambuilding and artistic skills.

The centre provides facilities for several outdoor activities including a low ropes course, climbing, some probelme solving puzzles and a zipwire across the grounds. Inside the centre, school staff lead a number of art activities from the Year 4 curriculum based on their time at Tattenhall and of course both evenings are rounded off with songs around the campfire!

Read below what our current Year 4 thought of their experience this year.

Quotes

‘I was very scared about sleeping at Tattenhall because I miss my Mum when I’m not with her, but I’m glad I went because I had lots of fun!’

‘When we were tree climbing, it was dead fun!’

‘We had a thrilling time!’

‘I was very nervous about going on the zipwire, but I did it and I really enjoyed it. I even went backwards and upside down!’

‘We worked as a team to overcome obstacles.’

‘Everyone had a blast!’
